I began my teaching career in 1985 at Sacred Heart Catholic School in northeast
Austin, and taught there for 14 years before having our son, John. I stayed home for two years and then began teaching at St. Theresa's Early Childhood Development program in 2002 with the 2.5 years old age group.
St. Theresa's ECD program was my teaching home until spring 2015 (13 years) and in August 2015, I joined St. Thomas More where I presently teach the 2.5 years old age group. This is my 34th year in the teaching field and I have enjoyed every day. There is never a dull moment and every moment is a learning experience. I strive to fill each day
with fun, laughter, music, a love for God and learning of course. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin...Hook'em Horns! Our son is a senior attending Southwestern University in Georgetown.
My name is Marina, and I’m an assistant teacher in the 2.5 class, I’ve been a teacher almost 4 years in STMPS. I love to be a teacher because I enjoy to see the little one interact with another’s kids.
I’m a originally from Argentina, which is in South America. I moved to the United States almost 20 years ago. In all these 20 years I had different jobs in different states but being a teacher and working with kids has been the most rewarding career choices I’ve made.
