“Solomon made all the articles that were for the house of the Lord: the golden altar; the table on which the showbread lay; the lampstands of pure gold, five to the right and five to the left before the inner sanctuary; their flowers, lamps, and tongs of gold; basins, snuffers, bowls, cups, and firepans of pure gold; hinges of gold for the doors of the innermost part of the house, or holy of holies, and for the doors of the outer room, the nave.” (1 Kg 7:48-50)

Particularly as a sacramental people, we recognize the importance of "things" in our spiritual life—the rhythms of the seasons change the physical world around us and lead us to respond differently. The spiritual seasons of the liturgical year change and by helping to alter the ambiance of church we are able to experience the different kinds of grace which the Lord desires to share with us.

We need help seasonally decorating the Church and overflow areas for Mass. Dates will be posted here when help is needed.
