Parish Activity Center Renovations

Renovations on the Parish Activity Center have been underway for quite some time, thanks to the generosity of so many of our parishioners contributing to the Encountering Christ Campaign! Here is a list from our Facilities Manager, JW Green, encapsulating the upgrades, along with a few pictures. We are beyond thankful and so blessed!

KITCHEN:

• Removed all upper cabinets
• Replaced all lower cabinets
• Replaced all countertops
• Replaced food prep tables
• Replaced ice machine
• Replaced commercial refrigerator
• Replaced sink and fixtures

PANTRY:

• Enclosed all open shelves with locking and numbered panel doors

MAIN AREA:

• Removed folding partitions and track
• Removed ceiling fans
• Removed 42 sound panels
• Repaired sheetrock
• Repainted all existing painted walls
• Removed popcorn acoustic texture on ceilings
• Refloated and repainted ceilings
• Refinsihed wood trim on all wall areas
• Refinished all wood trim on ceilings
• Refinished all wood doors
• Replaced light switches
• Replaced door locks, push/pull hardware and door stops
• Replaced emergency exit lights
• Installed four new ceiling-mounted speakers
• Ran HDMI cable through the ceiling
• Retrofitted cove ceiling lighting to LED
• Replaced supply and returned registers in ceiling
• Replaced carpet
• Removed interior doors and wall in foyer
• Replaced countertops in restrooms
• Replaced countertops in small kitchen

ST. THOMAS MORE ROOM:

• Removed acoustic ceiling texture and repainted 
• replaced light fixtures
• Removed mirrors on walls
• Removd and replaced carpet
• Refinsihed the doors
• Replaced the door locks

EXTERIOR:

• Removed and replaced old PAC sign on the building
• Replaced front fascia lighting
• Replaced double front doors and four back doors
• Replaced five windows on the front and eight on the back
• Cleaned all stone on the building
