We're Hiring: Liturgy Director

After six years of coordinating beautiful liturgies as well as supporting our liturgical and prayer ministries, Jennifer Fangman has decided to pursue other opportunities leading us to search for a new Liturgy Director.

We are truly grateful to Jennifer for her dedication to the worship and prayer life of St. Thomas More Parish and wish her the best in her future endeavors. Her last day was December 31st.

What You’ll Love

• Working onsite with a solid team of clergy, peers and volunteers who are focused on liturgical excellence.
• Leading others to an encounter with Christ through the liturgy.
• Building strong relationships with staff and parishioners.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee most weekend Masses as well as all holy day and special liturgies.
• Inspire, empower and lead liturgical and prayer ministries.
• Foster a sense of collaboration and ownership through effective liturgical planning meetings.
• Order and maintain an inventory of all liturgical supplies.
• Prepare and maintain the liturgy budget.

What You’ll Need

• A heart on fire for liturgical excellence in service of our priests and congregation is a must.
• Education and/or experience to coordinate all manner of liturgical events is required.
• Experience with scheduling and managing volunteers.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while multi-tasking.
• Ability to work flexible shifts: days, weekends, evenings and holidays (I.E.-Easter, Christmas, etc.).
• Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office.

Compensation

• Salary is commensurate with experience.
• Full benefits package including free employee health and life insurance, paid time off and holidays, and a 403b with up to 2% matching.
