Confirmation enriches the baptized with the strength of the Holy Spirit so that they can better witness to Christ in word and deed (Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 1285). Anointed by the Holy Spirit at Confirmation, Christians strengthen their bond with the Church and become better equipped to carry out the Church's mission of love and service.
Teens in ninth grade through twelfth grade who are interested in being Confirmed should contact the Religious Education Department at (512) 258-1944 or visit our High School page.
Adults who were baptized Catholic but did not receive the Sacrament of Confirmation should contact the Director of Adult Faith Formation at (512) 258-1944 for more information on receiving this Sacrament.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) prepares adults to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. For more information about the RCIA process contact the Director of Adult Faith Formation at (512) 258-1944 or visit our "Becoming Catholic" page.
