Domestic Church Outreach Activities

  • As we celebrate the Year of the Domestic Church, Social Outreach is offering some wonderful opportunities to volunteer in honoring the celebration of God's Children through the month of July.

  • make a meal kit

Our neighbors at Community First! Village move into either tiny homes, where they can utilize communal, fully equipped kitchens; or Park Homes, where they have a full kitchen, but limited space. By putting together simple, shelf-stable meal kits for our neighbors, you can provide the ability to create a delicious, home-cooked meal. Please choose from the recipes we’ve included in our instructions.

For instructions to create a meal kit for our neighbors click HERE.

**Please return meal kits in the containers outside the church through the month of July.

  • MAKE A First Aid Kit

Saint Louise House is a non profit organization dedicated to the success of women and their children moving from homelessness to healthy independent lives. We strive to empower women and their children to overcome homelessness for generations to come.

When families come to Saint Louise House, they often come with nothing. We aim to provide them with everything they need for a path leading to healthy independent lives. You can support Saint Louise House families by putting together first aid kits that we will give to our current and incoming families. We have compiled a list of items that will provide families with what they need. You can make your own personalized kit or donate a prepared package with items from our list.

  • make a hope pack for a child in Foster Care

Want to provide some hope and comfort to a child going through a moment of crisis? We are making Hope Packs in the month of July to support children placed in foster care. They often arrive with nothing more than what they are wearing. Each Hope Pack, broken down by age and gender for newborns through teens meets a child's needs while bringing comfort in a moment of crisis. There are optional lists for baby - 18 month, 2 - 4 year olds, 5 - 10 year olds, and 11 - 17 year olds.
