Drive a Senior Northwest

STM’s Drive a Senior Northwest Ministry is hosting our Fall Senior Day Out Lunch.  

We will prepare, assemble, and serve homemade lunches to the regular attendees of Senior Day Out on Thursday, September 26th.

This event is taking place at Anderson Mill Baptist Church. Click on our sign-up genius with all the slots for helping prepare our lunch, and serve food to the seniors.  Please consider how you can help our awesome senior community.

Mission:  “Drive a Senior Northwest provides services that enhance the independence and quality of life for senior adults in Northwest Austin, Cedar Park, and Leander.”
 
In fact, in 2019 DSNW provided nearly 8500 rides for our senior clients and hosted 22 senior day out events serving over 660 lunches.
 
How do we accomplish our mission? It’s very straight-forward, specifically:

• We provide rides for our senior neighbors to doctor’s appointments, the grocery store/errands, or provide handyman services
• Host twice monthly Senior Day Out events at Anderson Mill Baptist Church
• Recruit & train volunteers to drive our seniors
• Coordinate & fill all the ride requests from seniors on a user-friendly platform that makes volunteering easy
