Engaged Sponsor Couple Program

St. Thomas More Parish provides a personal and confidential guidance process for couples who are preparing for the sacrament of marriage in the Catholic Church. The Engaged Sponsor Couple Program is a series of five meetings in the home of a married couple who has been trained and assigned to work with you personally.

For Better and Forever covers many important topics and issues including family of origin, money matters, prayer, and marital spirituality. Communication and problem-solving skills, parenting, intimacy, and spirituality are also topics that are explored in an informal setting with a warm and welcoming sponsor couple from our parish.

You will be assigned an engaged sponsor couple as soon as you have completed your initial interview, and at least 4-6 mths before your scheduled wedding date. The engaged sponsor couple will contact you to set up a mutually convenient time to meet. The cost for materials is $60 per couple.
