About this Event

Adventures in Marriage combines God's vision for marriage with the latest research to provide specific, practical, attainable skills for a successful marriage. The event is a fun and engaging way for couples to discover better ways to meet one another's needs, communicate, resolve conflicts, express anger, avoid dirty fighting and understand how their personality styles impact relationships for better or worse. Adventures in Marriage is appropriate for couples at any age or stage, from newly married to celebrating their golden years. The program helps happily married and highly stressed couples communicate in a way that enhances understanding and intimacy.

Come learn how to create the marriage God desires you to have.

Some of the benefits of Adventures in Marriage include:

• Expressing yourself clearly so your thoughts and feelings can be recognized and understood without causing your spouse to feel defensive, resentful, overwhelmed, manipulated or inadequate.
• Avoiding the mind reading that often leads to misunderstandings between couples, and learn to avoid assumptions.
• Recognizing when your communication style is more of a problem than the actual problem you are facing.
• Developing the ability to feel genuine empathy for your partner instead of secret resentment.
