Class Information
For more information for a grade level please go to:- Elementary, Grades K-5 - Elementary

Classes begin the week of September 17.
Older Student Sacrament Preparation Program (OSSP)
Does your child over the age of 7 (past 2nd grade) need to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, or Eucharist? Our Elementary Older Student Sacrament Preparation (OSSP) program is a two year program designed for any students in grades 3-5 who have not received these sacraments. The sacrament preparation class is scheduled for Sundays from 12 noon-1:15 pm. Contact Jill Goeters (jill1@stmaustin.org) for more information.
If your child is in 6th grade through 8th grade and has not received their sacraments (Baptism, Reconciliation, or Eucharist), please contact Andrea Cochran (andrea@stmaustin.org) for all details going forward. These students should register for regular Middle School classes on Sunday evening.
If your child is in High School and has not received their sacraments (Baptism, Reconciliation, or Eucharist), please contact Logan Mayes for information. These students should register for Life Teen.
Teen ConfirmationConfirmation classes for teens, grades 9-12, are held in the Spring semester. Teens must be registered, active participants in Life Teen, and must have been active participants in a Faith Formation program for at least one (school) year prior to their Confirmation year. More information can be found on the Teen Confirmation page.
Please note that a Baptism certificate is required for any student who will be confirmed this school year. This can be attached during the registration process but you can still register prior to turning in the certificate. (They MUST be turned in no later than December 1.) Even if your teen was baptized at St. Thomas More, we must have a copy of their Baptism certificate.
Home Study Classes
Are you having difficulties scheduling Faith Formation classes? We offer a Home Study option for grades K-1 and 3-8. (Please note that 8th gr Home Study does not fulfill the requirement for the first year of Confirmation prep.) This is a great opportunity to work with your children at home and teach them about their Catholic faith.To register for Faith Formation, please contact Jill Goeters, Faith Formation Director.
