Rev. David Trahan

Fr. David was born into an Army family in El Paso and grew up in various places around the United States as well as Yokohama, Japan. His family settled down in Round Rock and he entered seminary after graduating from Round Rock High School. Ordained in 2012 for the Diocese of Austin, he has served as parochial vicar at the Cathedral, St. Mary’s Student Center at Texas A&M in College Station, and St. Louis in Austin, administrator of Our Lady of Wisdom at Texas State in San Marcos, and pastor of St. Mary’s of the Assumption in West. Medical difficulties led to a convalescence at St. John Vianney in Round Rock and another stint as parochial vicar at the Cathedral before coming to St. Thomas More.
